Starfish Malawi started as a project to build a school for a small locality in Salima that could also be used by the church and surrounding community.
From this emerged the Schools LInking programme which facilitates friendships and joint curriculum initiatives between schools in Malawi and the UK. As a result we have also seen major improvements in the infrastructure and resources in the link schools in Malawi
We are not, however, just thinking about the educational needs, important though these are. We are seeking to address the spiritual and physical priorities of the people.
"Building the Church in the School", the original mission of Starfish is growing into "Building the Kingdon of God" in the lives of children.
