***A group of 19 UK teachers spent the recent half term holiday in Malawi visiting their link schools which will enable a better understanding of each other's culture and curriculum programmes. 6 Malawi teachers will be paying a reciprocal visit to their link schools in the UK next March

***The Starfish Malawi CD is still available. It was recoreded by Roly and Rosie accompanied by over 2000 children from 19 schools in the UK and two in Malawi. Already most of the first batch of 3000 have been ordered by schools.Children from Lamberhurst CE Primary School in Kent were featured on the BBC singing the song with several of the pupils being interviewed. ***A group from Bradford Girls Grammar has been to Malawi during the Summer holidays and did some valuable painting and plastering for Starfish.

***Two Soapbox teams did important construction and outreach work in Salima in August.

***Another container will be sent to Malawi in January or February next year. Schools will be asked for their contributions for their link schools and churches and individuals can contact Chris Merritt on 01580 753867


***Maggie Mitchell is coordinating our Secondary School Sponsorship scheme. If you would like to sponsor a child to go to secondary school, do contact her on 01622 812297.
