Light 4 Youth is an organisation of mainly young volunteers that seeks to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, especially among young people. They do so by means of very explicit messages, and use drama, poetry and songs to reach their peers. Often they form groups within their villages and schools and they are proving very effective in the areas that they operate in.

The light4Youth team are also responsible for Schools Linking in the Kasungu district.

The programme supports T'Lipo (teachers living positively) which aims to give the 1 in 7 teachers who have HIV/AIDS an opportunity to work so that they can supplement their diet and stay healthy to teach in the schools. In 2008 72 teachers died in the Kasungu district. In 2009 this reduced dramatically to 2, partly as a result of the Starfish programme.
